Issue Details
A data package is a valuable tool that Cutsforth support uses for troubleshooting. It is required to get the trend and the specific datasets needed to analyze a group of waveforms. This article walks through exporting a data package from the InsightCM web application so you can provide it to support. The expected result is a data package file downloaded to your computer, ready to attach to your support ticket.
Prerequisites
- Access to the InsightCM web application
- Permissions to view the assets and signals of interest
Table of Contents
2. Select the Signal of Interest
3. Load the Data in the Trend Plot
Instructions/Solution
1. In the InsightCM web application, go to the Data Viewer.
2. Select the signal of interest from the asset tree.

4. Export the data package from the Navigation Menu.
Outcome
Your browser downloads a data package file containing the trend and the selected datasets. Attach this file to your support ticket so Cutsforth support can analyze the waveforms.
Additional Information
Be careful with how many datasets you export — a high number may cause a timeout. The suggestion is to keep the export under 15 datasets.
To confirm how many datasets are in your selection, turn on the Annotate Datasets button at the top of the trend plot. Each box with the squiggly line represents one dataset.
