Issue Details

There is an issue with a device from InsightCM and the device log files are needed.

 

Reported In

InsightCM 3.7 to InsightCM 3.11.

 

Hardware

All NI devices for InsightCM, for example:

  • NI-cRIO-9055 (e.g., EMI-9055, CMS-9055)

  • NI-cRIO-9058 (e.g., CMS-9058, EMI-9058)

  • NI-cRIO-9042 (e.g., GFM-9042, MMS-9042)

  • NI-cRIO-9047 (e.g., Air Gap-9047, CMS-9047, EMI-9047)

  • NI-cRIO-9041 (e.g., EMI-9041, GFM-9041)

  • NI-cRIO-9065 (e.g., CMS-9065, EMSA-9065)

  • NI-cRIO-9068 (e.g., CMS-9068, EMSA-9068)

  • IC-3120 (e.g., IR-3120)

  • NI-CVS-1458 (e.g., IR-1458)

 

Solution/Procedure

  1. Navigate to the device configuration page

  2. Select a device

  3. Action menu >> Import/Export >> Export device log files (if it is for a support ticket we recommend downloading all files to send to the Cutsforth support team)

    • Debug Log

    • Reboot Log

    • Backlog Files Log

    • Wireless Battery Log (if a NI wireless device)
