In order to effectively use the alarm features and send emails to selected individuals, you need to set up the Address Groups as outlined in this procedure and then Create Email Templates.

Click the drop-down in the top-right of any window and select Options.

When the Options window opens, select Address Groups and click the + button next to the Selected Group drop-down.

Fill in the name of the group, and the emails of the individuals you want in the group in the TO:, CC:, and BCC sections. Click OK.
You now have an email group to send alarm emails to. If you wish to customize these emails based upon alarm levels/features in the alarm, refer to Create Email Templates.
