If an InsightCM software license is not renewed, or more sensors/devices are added than a license allows, what functionality changes within the InsightCM software?
The change in functionality differs between a perpetual license and a subscription license:
Software License Expires

If InsightCM software support expires, user is not entitled to technical support on any version of InsightCM.

If a newer version of InsightCM is installed, the installation will work. However, an error message will appear upon attempting to activate.

Perpetual License

Data will still be collected from the existing monitoring devices

The data viewers and analysis viewers will still function

Subscription License

Data will not be collected

Data viewers will be disabled

Sensor/Device Count is Exceeded (Perpetual and Subscription)

Data viewers for that technology will be disabled

Data is still collected, and can be viewed after adding more sensors/devices to the license, or removing sensors/devices to get below the limit for the license
Invalid License (Perpetual and Subscription)

If the license becomes invalid (i.e. is removed), all devices will be disabled and will stop collecting data. Data previously collected remains but is not viewable while subscription is expired. This would only occur if a user intentionally removes the license from within the InsightCM interface.
